Join us at the University Club of Grand Rapids to celebrate and support local public art.
Lions & Rabbits Center for the Arts is excited to announce the launch of a series of fundraisers focusing on the intersection between the culinary arts and the visual arts experience in West Michigan—while raising money for our organization.
These fundraisers feature a series of unique dining events hosted at some of the best restaurants, unique venues, or intimate settings in the area. Each event is designed to showcase the culinary talents of local chefs and highlight the diverse food culture of West Michigan.
Our goal with these events is to bring people together for exciting opportunities outside of the typical, to push the boundaries of what food and art people are exposed to, and raise funds for our public art initiatives through a more organic platform than the popular gala format.
We’re pleased that the first event in this fall’s lineup will take place on September 22nd at the University Club of Grand Rapids, featuring a menu inspired by a variety of regional food cultures. Set against views from the University Club’s home at the tenth floor of the Fifth Third Center in downtown Grand Rapids, guests will enjoy a strolling dining experience, cocktails provided by High Five Spirits, music, and local art. Guests will also have the opportunity to learn about several other area organizations supporting the arts—to tie in with the event’s happening during this year’s ArtPrize.

This partnership with the University Club of Grand Rapids is an exciting opportunity for Lions & Rabbits and our guests. Their commitment to using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and their innovative approach to cuisine make them the perfect partner for this event.
All proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards supporting the work of Lions & Rabbits Center for the Arts, which is dedicated to promoting lucrative public art opportunities for artists and robust arts education in West Michigan.
We believe that art and culture are essential to the health and vitality of our community. Through these fundraisers, we hope to not only raise money in support of our programs but also raise awareness of the incredible culinary resources we have right here in West Michigan.
