Calling all festive runners and walkers who want to come journey the Grand Rapids winter wonderland!
As part of the Grand Rapids Tree Lighting Ceremony, Gazelle Sports will be putting on a free 3-mile Jingle Bell Run, starting from Rosa Parks Circle. Participants are encouraged to wear their most festive, bright and warm holiday attire for our jolly jaunt. There will be no cost, no official timing or swag but there will be free treats at the finish at our downtown location at 52 Monroe Center St NW!
The tree lighting ceremony will begin at 5 pm with the tree being lit between 5:45 pm and 6 pm. The Jingle Bell Run will begin 5 mins after the tree is lit. We will meet and begin the run/walk at the north end of Rosa Parks Circle. The course will be on sidewalks and paths, no roads will be closed and we will need to obey all intersection crossing rules. Also, please be courteous to pedestrians using the sidewalks.
