Reno Miller is a troubled artist who has been driven to the very edge. He is killed mentally by his new neighbors, a punk band named Tony Coca Cola and The Roosters whose all night practice sessions have made it impossible for Reno to focus on his latest painting. His landlord refuses to do anything except demand the overdue rent. His two lesbian roommates are also no help and are becoming a source of annoyance as they grow impatient with Reno’s inability to finish and sell the painting. All these stressors contribute visions of violence, mayhem and depravity to Reno’s psyche. When these visions become too much to handle, Reno is driven beyond the edge and becomes The Driller Killer; one who kills violently!
