This full-day workshop will cover more advanced statistical techniques that are needed for making complex business decisions. Applications of descriptive statistics in areas such as inventory, accounts receivable, and pricing will be covered through workshop examples. Principles of hypothesis testing and inferential statistics will be presented with workshop exercises covering examples from manufacturing, financial services, and health care. This course includes a review of available tools for displaying statistical results in tables, graphs, and charts for purposes of both analysis and presentation. Participants will receive a course-pack with additional resources for using statistics in business. The Understanding Business Statistics workshop is recommended but not required to register.
