This year, People First Economy is excited to honor Gentex Corporation with the 2024 Good For Environment Award! The Environment category evaluates a company’s overall environmental stewardship. More specifically, how the company manages its impacts on the climate, water, and land through its supply chain, production processes, and through its products & services it sells.
Gentex currently develops and manufactures custom high-tech electronic products for the automotive, aerospace, and commercial fire protection industries. Gentex is committed to protecting the environment by meeting relevant environmental legal and other requirements, and to strive for continual improvement in its environmental performance by seeking out smarter ways to minimize waste and prevent pollution that offer the greatest anticipated practical benefit while striving for continual improvement.
